“I’m not saying it will be tomorrow. But I also can’t say it will never happen,” the president told Belarusian Armed Forces troops, emphasizing the need for preparedness.

The Ministry of Defense confirmed that the training included, among other weapons, Polonez-M missile launchers, along with the Iskander-M tactical missile system and Smerch multiple rocket launcher platforms.

The Ministry also stated that the exercise focused on preparing and conducting missile troop operations, and included training exercises for carrying out attacks with these weapons both day and night.

“The exercises included covert deployment, navigation, calculations, and launches under conditions as close as possible to combat, with simulated reconnaissance and electronic warfare capabilities from a hypothetical enemy,” the military department stated.
