The agreement seeks to align United Nations (UN) assistance with national development priorities, highlighting health resilience, equity, and quality of services.
More than 10 agencies, including the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), support actions in maternal and child health care, communicable and non-communicable diseases, digital innovation, and nutrition.
The agreement was discussed during a meeting between Cambodia’s Health Minister Chheang Ra and United Nations Resident Coordinator in Cambodia Vladanka Andreeva, who reaffirmed their commitment to deepening collaboration.
The two sides agreed to consolidate mechanisms that guarantee efficient assistance and avoid duplication, in support of the national goal of equitable access to quality healthcare services by 2030.
