Bank accounts of various territorial associations have been opened to raise funds for the purchase of renewable energy equipment, food, and medical supplies.

Among a wide range of initiatives, the rallies on March 21 throughout the country and a unified demonstration in Madrid on April 19 stand out, along with material donations, support for the “Our America” ​​convoy, and participation in solidarity brigades, among other actions publicized by the Cubainformación website.

The MESC called on political organizations, unions, youth groups, feminist organizations, and the Cuban community abroad to join forces to demand an end to the blockade and support the Cuban people.

The group of solidarity and friendship organizations with Cuba emphasized the need to demonstrate on March 21st in front of US embassies and consulates in support of the “Our America” ​​Convoy’s global day of action.

Coinciding with the anniversary of the Bay of Pigs invasion, letters will be delivered to US consulates and the US Embassy in Madrid, with signatures and endorsements from organizations and individuals demanding an end to the blockade against Cuba.

The MESC intends to continue promoting the “Let Cuba Live” campaign, spearheaded by cultural figures, as well as bringing the Cuban cause to other anti-imperialist struggles and significant dates such as May Day celebrations.

Various international solidarity brigades are being organized through trips arranged by the Cuban Friendship Institute (ICAP), in anticipation of May Day, and within the European context and through the International Colloquium for the Centenary of Fidel Castro.
