This site regularly conducts a poll of the most significant beaches, and this time included Varadero, in the province of Matanzas.

  Furthermore, the resort will host the 44th International Tourism Fair (FITCuba 2026), scheduled to take place at the Plaza América fairgrounds next May.  

  The announcement states that whether you want to relax on the soft sand or immerse yourself in new adventures, this year’s winning beaches promise a dream getaway.

  Varadero ranks third in this ranking, and it consistently appears among the most frequently mentioned beaches on various TripAdvisor lists and other travel websites.

Varadero boasts 15 archaeological sites, including grottos and caverns that once served as shelters.

  The most visited vestige today is Ambrosio Cave, on the peninsula’s southern coast, where experts say the largest pictograph in the Caribbean is located (this cave has five galleries and is 250 meters long).

  It is the most renowned beach resort in Cuba and attracts travelers from all over the world each year, including those interested not only in sun and sand but also in recreational water sports.
