Foreign Minister Than Swe received a delegation headed by Lee Yam Ming, Executive Director of the institution, to discuss disaster response strategies.

During the meeting, the regional representative thanked the Government of Myanmar for its support of humanitarian operations channeled through the center and outlined assistance plans for the country.

For his part, Than Swe acknowledged the organization’s efforts and stressed the importance of maintaining close coordination to ensure that aid reaches those in need efficiently.

The Foreign Minister reiterated the Government’s commitment to facilitating the regional center’s initiatives and continuing to support its humanitarian operations in Myanmar.
