The meeting underscored that the country registered leaps in economic, technological, and overall capability strength.

The Politburo considered the 15th Five-Year Plan period crucial for consolidating the foundations of basic socialist modernization.

The 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-2030) will guide China’s development toward basic socialist modernization by 2035, in a global context marked by geopolitical reconfiguration, technological competition, and efforts to build a more balanced multilateral governance system.
