The MCFA indicated that the continuous offensive statements against the Caribbean nation are an insult to the resilience of the Cuban people, who have bravely withstood the unilateral blockade of more than 60 years.
Obviously, through these threats, the government of US President Donald Trump is barbarically pursuing the stifling of the Cuban people, continuing a policy initiated by Washington in the 1960s, the text stated.
The MCFA noted that the White House policy is an open admission of the intention to commit a crime of aggression against the Caribbean nation.
The statement added that those in solidarity with Cuba in this nation demand the condemnation of these threats and the urgent lifting of the US blockade that deprives the Cuban people of their basic needs.
The MCFA urged the United Nations to assume its responsibility regarding the votes of its General Assembly, which have been calling for lifting the US blockade against the Caribbean nation for more than 30 years.
