Sobyanin specified that the last group of six Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles heading toward Moscow was successfully repelled, bringing the total to 14 drones shot down this Saturday near the Russian capital.
The mayor added that emergency services quickly arrived at the crash site to assess the potential damage and carry out necessary repairs.
He also stated that no injuries to people or buildings have been reported. For its part, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that in the last three hours, operational air defense systems shot down another 37 Ukrainian attack drones over four Russian regions.
The ministry specified that of the fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles shot down, 29 were detected and destroyed over the Bryansk region; six over the Belgorod region; and one over each of the Kursk and Smolensk regions.
