Another bloody day of Israeli bombings against Lebanon

Beirut, March 28 (Prensa Latina) At least 18 people were killed and 29 wounded as a result of a widespread air and artillery offensive launched by Israel against more than 50 locations in Lebanon.

According to official sources, Israeli forces attacked 54 cities, towns, and areas, mainly in the south of the country, in one of the most intense days of bombing since the beginning of the current escalation.

Among the dead were six paramedics and three journalists, according to reports based on local and official sources.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that the attacks reached cities such as Nabatieh, Bint Jbeil, and Jezzine, as well as numerous towns in the south, where ambulances and civilian vehicles were also hit.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that a bombing of an ambulance in Kfar Tebnit resulted in the death of a paramedic and left several wounded, and described the incident as a violation of international humanitarian law. In addition, another attack on an ambulance in Zawtar al-Gharbiya resulted in the deaths of five paramedics, while a raid in the city of Sarafand left one dead and 17 wounded.

Meanwhile, bombings in the town of Haniyeh killed five Syrian citizens and wounded eight others.

Civilian casualties were also reported in attacks on vehicles, including a man and his son in the Awainat area.
