In a series of statements, the group reported that the actions included rocket launches and the detonation of explosive devices against Israeli vehicles and military personnel, and asserted that they were carried out “in defense of Lebanon and its people” in the face of the ongoing Israeli offensive that began on March 2.
Among the targets attacked were the settlement of Kiryat Shmona in northern Israel, as well as military positions in the towns of Deir Siryan and on the Taybeh-Qantara highway in southern Lebanon.
Hezbollah also indicated that it carried out rocket attacks in three separate actions against concentrations of Israeli troops in the towns of Dibil, Qantara, and Beit Leef, and later announced a new attack against Israeli forces in Qantara.
On the eve, the movement announced it had carried out 93 missile and drone strikes against Israeli targets, including the Ministry of Defense and the headquarters of the Northern Command.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army reported that two of its soldiers were killed and four others, including two officers, were wounded during clashes in southern Lebanon.
