Ulyanov, who is also Russia’s Permanent Representative to the International Organizations in Vienna, stated that his country is working effectively with the Israelis and Americans, reminding them that attacks on nuclear facilities must end.

Last Tuesday, the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) reported another projectile that struck the Bushehr facility. According to Iranian authorities, the plant was undamaged, no personnel were injured, and the facility continues to operate normally.

On March 17, the AEOI reported another impact, which also caused no casualties or material damage.

That same day, the director general of the Russian state corporation Rosatom, Alexey Likhachev, specified that the projectile landed in the area adjacent to the metrology service building, located at the Bushehr plant very close to an operating reactor.

Likhachev denounced that the situation at the Bushehr nuclear power plant continues to unfold negatively. The attacks against the Iranian nuclear plant’s infrastructure show that the facility’s security is not a red line for the participants in the conflict.

Operational since 2011, the plant has one reactor with a generating capacity of 1,000 megawatts and two more under construction, which together will contribute 3,000 megawatts of power to the Iranian electrical grid.
