The works, focused in the municipality of Rafael Freyre, north of the province, are located in the areas of La Caridad and Loma del Cedro, vital areas for the connection with renewable sources in the face of fossil fuel limitations.
Acimut foresees that the injection of 21.8 megawatts in La Caridad will allow a respite for the sector and facilitate the installation of new storage modules to ensure supply during hours without solar radiation.
Managers of the entity pointed out that Loma del Cedro will become a technological reference with the concreting of pillarts for investors and the foundation of structures that will contribute 10 additional megawatts to the National Electro-energy System.
Despite the technical challenges in complex terrains, professionals aim to complete drainage systems and access roads, according to reports from the company that adds 10 parks implemented in the country.
