The PNC chairman underscored that attacking families in their homes reveals the criminal mentality of the Israeli army, which boasts of killing women and children and violates international humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions.
The politician warned that these violations flagrantly defy the will of the international community and all existing political and security agreements and commitments.
The official also criticized the United States government, stating that it “has an obligation to assume its political, moral, and legal responsibilities to stop this aggression and contain” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
In light of the situation, Fattouh called on the world, especially the United Nations, to adopt immediate and binding measures to end the killings and bring the perpetrators to international justice.
