The National Civil Registry previously reported that the Colombian residents abroad who are eligible to vote can exercise their right to vote until June 21, the day the polls open in Colombia.
The entity specified that an estimated 1,414,661 Colombians are eligible to participate in the runoff abroad, 777,343 of whom are women and 637,318 are men.
The electoral body also revealed that on June 21, at 16:00 hours (Colombia time), when the polls close in this country, preliminary results of the overseas runoff will begin to be released. Data already validated by the official count stated that in the first round of voting on May 31, De la Espriella received 10,366,000 votes, while Cepeda obtained 9,703,000.
