A week after the “biggest natural disaster” ever in the country’s history, rescue efforts continue for victims trapped under the rubble, with the hope of finding people alive, even though the critical hours have passed, but hope remains intact.

The 4,099 international rescue workers from Latin America, the Americas, Europe, and Asia deployed in the disaster zones are maintaining their uninterrupted work, using advanced technologies, search dogs, vehicles, and contributing 707,063 tons of humanitarian aid.

This cooperation continued with the arrival of another group of rescue experts from Mexico, as well as new shipments of medical supplies and telecommunications equipment from Panama, Ecuador, Argentina, Germany, and Brazil to assist the victims and address the emergency.

Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yvan Gil announced on Telegram the arrival of a technical mission from Israel, comprised of experts in structural engineering and applied sciences, who have joined the technical assessments of the affected infrastructure.
