Yılmaz made these remarks during his participation, alongside Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in the Turkish-Pakistani Business and Investment Forum held in Istanbul.
The Turkish vice president affirmed that the participants in the forum met not only to review bilateral economic cooperation, but also to open a new chapter of collaboration based on a shared history, deep-rooted friendship, and a common vision for the future.
He underscored that Turkiye and Pakistan have repeatedly shown that they are not simply two countries with common interests, but two sister nations that support each other in complex times.
Yılmaz emphasized that Pakistan is not only a leading country in South Asia but also a responsible actor that plays a constructive role in regional and international affairs and contributes effectively to establishing peace and stability.
