The session is scheduled for August 3 to 24, and will be divided into two phases, according to information released after a meeting between the Executive Bureaus of the Communist Party Committees in Parliament and the Government.
Some 19 draft laws and normative resolutions will be approved, and seven bills will undergo their first review.
Prime Minister Le Minh Hung highlighted the close and effective coordination between the National Assembly and the Government, which has contributed to the timely institutionalization of the Party’s directives, the maintenance of macroeconomic stability, and the effective functioning of the new organizational model of the political system.
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man underscored at the conclusion of the meeting that adherence to the schedule should not compromise the quality of draft laws and resolutions.
