The inter-institutional agreement currently in place between the two entities has enabled the training of over 50 graduates of the Doctoral program in Pedagogical Sciences and Educational Sciences at the University of Cienfuegos (UCf), as well as a group currently pursuing doctorates in Educational Sciences in Colombia, Dr. Adrian Abreus Gonzalez, Director of Internationalization at UCf, explained to Prensa Latina.

As part of this collaboration, which dates back to 2016, many of these Cuban and Colombian researchers participated in the 2nd International Congress on Educational Scientific Research and Innovation (TICEL), held in Cali.

Notable presentations included “The Teaching-Learning Process of Electricity in the Face of Disruptive Technology Challenges” by Raul Rodriguez Munoz and Jhon Jairo Becerra Rodriguez, and “Educational Management and Social Interaction in Children with ASD: Challenges for Educational Inclusion” by Yiddishy Rodriguez Veloz and Ricardo Gonzalez Patino.

Also standing out were the presentations “Impact of Technological Tools on Supporting Students with Dyslexia in Primary Education” by Yaquelin Alfonso Moreira and Paola Andrea Klinger Nazareno, and “Research Trends in Teaching Historical Memory in Social Sciences: A Systematic Review” by Jency Mendoza Otero and Dora Villegas Anaya.

The Foundation for Comprehensive Training and Human Development (FIDEH) aims to foster the educational and professional development of students across various fields of knowledge.

It also provides training programs—including workforce training courses, as well as technical, technological, and professional degree programs, specializations, master’s degrees, and doctorates—in partnership with prestigious universities, such as the “Carlos Rafael Rodriguez” University of Cienfuegos.
