Cienfuegos, Cuba, Oct 6 (Prensa Latina) An international team of researchers and the Center for Environmental Studies of Cienfuegos (CEAC) have completed the first detailed analysis of microplastics in sediments from the Almendares River and Havana Bay.

Cienfuegos, Cuba, June 20 (Prensa Latina) Cuban scientists found microplastics in all 22 monitored reefs, with levels ranging from 8 to 218 particles per liter, in a study conducted with the participation of the IAEA and universities in the United States.
