Chinese company donates face masks to Cuba to fight Covid-19
13 de mayo de 2020, 17:9Havana, May 13 (Prensa Latina) The Chinese company Great Wall, dedicated to oil drilling, donated 3.000 face masks to Cuba so as to fight Covid-19 in this country.
These protection means, in a total of 10 boxes, were received at the Provincial Direction of Public Health, in Havana, to be sent to Salvador Allende Hospital.
Aldo Grandal, head of MINSAP´s International Relations Department, and Teresita Gonzalez, head of Medical Collaboration, thanked the Chinese company for donation.
Cuba received 6,000 EN-95 and 70,000 surgical masks last week donated by the Department of International Relations of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
This load, exceeding 42,000 dollars, was delivered by the Chinese ambassador, Chen Xi, and received by Angel Arzuaga, deputy head of the International Relations Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba.
