Vietnam's Prime Minister calls to beat Covid-19 outbreak
Hanoi, Aug 7 (Prensa Latina) Vietnam´s Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has affirmed Friday that next two weeks will be crucial in halting the Covid-19 outbreak in Vietnam, and also called on all factors deeply involved in the task to act as one.
During a virtual meeting of the government's Standing Committee to fight the pandemic, Xuan Phuc stated that efforts should be aimed above all at the city of Da Nang and Quang Nam province, in the center of the country.
He also urged to be very attentive to the real situation in Ho Chi City and Hanoi, the two most populous cities in Vietnam, because thousands of citizens were in Da Nang when the outbreak.
Nguyen Xuan Phuc ordered local authorities to continue carrying out screenings, massive tests and taking statements on the state of health, especially among newcomers from Da Nang.
Nguyen Xuan Phuc explained these regulations will only be applied where required, as the rest of the country must devote itself to the no less important task of reviving the economy.
