MAS seeks to make Bolivia prosper after coup government's destruction
La Paz, Oct 5 (Prensa Latina) Bolivia's presidential candidate for the Movement Towards Socialism (MAS) Luis Arce, leader of votes for October 18's elections, said on Monday he wanted to make Bolivia's economy prosper.
On Twitter, Arce regretted that after Bolivia being placed in the first levels of economic growth under Evo Morales (2006-2019), a right-wing government came and destroyed everything.
He live-tweeted there was no fraud in last elections, but a coup, referring to boycott sponsored by the Organization of American States (OAS) and the right to annul Morales' electoral victory and also remove him from the presidency.
Present polls position Arce in first place, followed by Carlos Mesa (Citizen Community Alliance), and Luis Fernando Camacho (Creemos Alliance).
But the MAS is facing harsh opposition, and also the Minister of Government Arturo Murillo urged his followers on Twitter to vote for Mesa.
