Cuba reaffirms at UN its rejection of terrorist actions

The attacks by members of the extreme rightwing Cuban-American terrorist organizations, backed by the US Government, have killed 3,478 Cubans and 2,099 other people have been maimed for life, the diplomat said on Tuesday.
Pedroso also explained that the Cuban Constitution reaffirms one of the foreign policy principles in Cuba, the repudiation and condemnation of terrorism in all its forms, particularly State terrorism.
Pedroso also rejected the inclusion of Cuba in the unilateral list of countries that supposedly sponsor terrorism, drawn up by the US Department of State.
According to Pedroso, this is a personal campaign by outgoing Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and his discredited foreign policy.
About this issue, the Cuban ambassador urged the United Nations to speak out against such unilateral lists and certifications, politically manipulated and contrary to International Law, which only serves the purposes of defamation and coercion against countries that refuse to comply, in their sovereign decisions, with the will of the US Government.
Public personalities worldwide have condemned the inclusion of Cuba in Washington's unilateral list of countries that sponsor terrorism.
With this kind of blacklists, the US Government seeks that third countries cut commercial and financial relations with the island, thus hardening the blockade against Cuba.
