Beirut, Jan 14 (Prensa Latina) Lebanon filed a complaint on Thursday with the UN Security Council over Israel's nabbing of Lebanese shepherd, Hassan Zahra, the Tel Aviv military committed a few hours ago.
LBCI television station showed footage at the time when Lebanese Permanent Ambassador to the United Nations Amal Mudallali recounted the events and condemned Israel's violations of Lebanon's sovereignty.
Mudallali called for the immediate release of Zahra in the message he sent to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and President of the Security Council, Tunisian Tarek Ladeb.
Tel Aviv alleged that a Lebanese pastor nabbed by Israeli forces was collecting information for Hizbullah.
Israeli army spokesman Avichay Adraee twitted that Zahra was arrested in an ambush after he crossed the border.
Subsequently, the commander of the UN peacekeeping force, Maj. Gen. Stefano Del Col, was carrying out contacts with the Israeli and Lebanese armies to secure the release of the shepherd.
