The Cuban Embassy in Mongolia pointed out that the vice president of the State Great Hural (Parliament) of Mongolia, Saldam Odontuya, received Cuban Ambassador Raul Delgado Concepcion at a meeting in which they reviewed the activities developed last year on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between their governments.

Both parties agreed to continue working to expand cooperation between the legislative bodies.

Delgado Concepcion thanked the Parliament and the Mongolian Government for their support for the battle that Cuba is waging against the United States blockade, and ratified the invitation to its leaders to visit Cuba as soon as the international situation due to the Covid-19 pandemic improves.

The diplomat provided Odontuya with updated information on the political and social situation in Cuba, as well as the main actions in the battle against Covid-19 and the development of Cuban vaccine candidates.

In addition, they exchanged opinions on other topics such as tourism, friendly relations between the two peoples, women’s leadership and the health sector.
