Pachiragam District Chief Hijratullah told Ariana news agency on Wednesday that the insurgents had attacked the checkpoints that belong to the Afghan Army and the local protection forces in Pera Khel and Bama Khel.
The source added that five checkpoints and a small base had fallen into the hands of the Taliban, and six soldiers were killed, while 13 other checkpoints had been captured by the armed group but efforts are being made to recuperate them.
