In an opinion article signed by prominent journalist Kamal Gaballa, the newspaper pointed out that Cuba has trained highly capable personnel in health and education, for the benefit of other countries

The publication slammed the recent decision by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio to suspend entry visas to US to officials associated with international agreements of medical cooperation with Cuba.

It recalled that Rubio stands as an icon of the most extremist sector of Cuban-Americans in the state of Florida.

In Al Ahram words, Cuban medical teams are gaining popularity in the world at large, as they provide high quality health services and save lives despite the arbitrary, politically motivated measures adopted by Washington.

The publication called to acknowledge the devoted and humanitarian contribution by thousands of Cubans who work in the health field, in more than 50 nations.
