According to the FSB note published this Sunday in the Slavic country’s media, thanks to the urgent measures taken, Kusmin, the material organizer of the bomb attack carried out this Saturday in the Moscow region of Balshija, where the member of the General Staff of the Russian army, lieutenant general Yaroslav Moskalik, died, was detained.
The FSB said that Kuzin, who was born in 1983 in Ukraine, is a member of the Ukrainian special services, and who was living in Russia, mined a Volkswagen Golf car in the city of Balashija, Moscow region.
It adds that Kuzin purchased a car in which he installed an improvised explosive device, the components of which he seized from a cache equipped by the Ukrainian intelligence services in the Moscow region.
The detainee was transferred to the Investigative Committee for carrying out the investigation within the framework of a criminal case for crimes of murder and illegal trafficking in explosives, stipulated in articles 105 and 222.1 of the Criminal Code.
On the eve, the Russian Investigative Committee reported that the explosion of a car in the yard of a residential building in the locality of Balashija claimed Moskalik’s life. According to reports, the explosive device was detonated remotely from the territory of Ukraine.
