This first African edition marks a significant milestone in the continent’s growing role in shaping global debates on governance, people-centered leadership, and international cooperation.
Organized by the World People’s Assembly (WPA) in partnership with African and international organizations, the summit’s theme is “New World: Africa in Shaping a Shared Future.”
More than 700 participants, including government officials, diplomats, business leaders, academicians, journalists, technology innovators, youth representatives, and civil society actors, will address issues that define Africa’s future and its role in a rapidly changing world.
The event program includes plenary sessions and roundtable discussions on sustainable infrastructure, food and information systems, scientific cooperation, education, youth participation, public diplomacy, and the preservation of African cultural heritage.
