Cuban president praises Venezuelan counterpart's peace efforts
Havana, Sep 25 (Prensa Latina) Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel on Friday praised the peace efforts by his Venezuelan counterpart Nicolas Maduro, whose government is attacked by the United States and other powers.
President Maduro once again recalls that the best way for Venezuela is peace, democracy, freedom, vote, participation and leadership of the people, Diaz-Canel posted on his Twitter account.
So it has been and so it will be. Venezuela is here, with its historical dignity, ready for new challenges and victories, the Cuban president quoted his Venezuelan counterpart.
Maduro presented on Thursday the report 'The truth of Venezuela against the infamy of Lima Group, at the Miraflores Palace, seat of government.' The document systematized the violations committed by the promoters of violent actions against the South American nation.
The president also highlighted the conciliatory position by the Bolivarian government facing the coup agenda of an extremist sector of the opposition responsible for testing all forms of insurrectionary violence, to take the country to the brink of the civil war on at least two times.
The statesman reiterated his support to the Truth, Justice and Peace Commission, public authorities and human rights organizations in the country, to promote the development of investigations about any violation committed and guarantee the immediate application of justice.
